Summer has been in full swing here. Europe has been engulfed in a bit of a heatwave, however, that has done little to slow things here. For starters, we hosted a touring Christian dance company called “Ad Deum” from Texas. We organized a program in the city at one of the churches in the industrial district. We invited many people to come and see the performances. It was a spectacular and extremely moving evening. The dancers expertly brought together art and evangelism. The event was very impactful to all in attendance, about 200 altogether. I brought my camera along and photographed the evening. I hope you enjoy these shots from the evening.

As I mentioned near the end of my last update, I have moved into the place I will be until the end of the year. I appreciate all the prayers. While there were some stressful moments, overall it went quite well. I am fully settled in the new place and glad to have the first phase of this double-part move taken care of.

We also have just released the final installment of the ReClaimed testimony series. This has been a major focus project for us over the last couple of months and it is bittersweet to see it come to a close for now. Over a thousand people have watched the episodes so far, and more people continue to discover it. My hope is to be able to bring it back in the future and continue to share more stories of how God has moved in people’s lives. However, until then, please enjoy this final episode:

ReClaimed Ep.4 – Janik

In the office, our focus has been heavily centered on promoting the training courses coming up in the new year. This includes the brand new media training course. We have had 4 students already sign up for it which is incredibly encouraging. There is a lot of work that goes into starting something new like this and seeing all the hard work start to pay off is exciting. We thought the reception of a course like this would be good, but it was merely speculation until students actually began to sign up. As you can see, I am very excited and look forward to the opportunity to continue to invest in others in this new way.

A couple of the visuals the team and I have come up with to promote the upcoming communications & media course.

I am also preparing to return to the US and Canada for a visit at the end of this month. My hope is to see many of you, connect, and also enjoy a bit of rest after a rather full year. While I am back, I will be sharing at a few churches including Carrot Creek Christian Fellowship on Sept. 4th, Whitefish Assembly on Sept. 11th, and Polson Foursquare on Sept. 18th. My hope is to see many of you and share even more of what is happening over here (these updates are just the tip of the iceberg). I have many stories projects, photos, and maybe even some swiss chocolate to share!

As always, thank you for coming along with me in this adventure of faith,
Ben
